How much can I expect to spend on Brand Design?

TLDR; The price of designing a brand is highly variable.

It’s a bit like asking how much it will cost to renovate your kitchen.

Well.

What do you want?

  • New countertops?

  • New cabinets?

  • New appliances?

Who do you want to do it?

  • The cheapest in town?

  • The best in town?

  • Your nephew that just started his contracting gig?

  • Yourself?

There are high costs, benefits & consequences to any of these choices.

If you’re not quite sure, a helpful contractor will listen to you carefully to help you answer the question: Do you need an entirely new kitchen, or only a new backsplash?

That might be the difference between $100K and $1K.

Speaking for Relic, we custom tailor every project & price to fit your exact need. We don’t offer packages because templated services has never created results we’re proud of.

Your brand deserves a thoughtful process built around its unique goals and context.

I can’t tell you exactly how much it will cost (because I don’t know your project–yet) however, in the last decade of our work, our design projects have ranged from $500 to $19K.

Before our discovery call together, think about the value our services would bring. And what you truly need.

  • Are you in a competitive industry with a lot of new kids on the block?

  • Has it been several years since you updated your visuals?

  • Are you proud of your brand?

  • Is your team moving in alignment?

  • Do you offer a product or service similar to other people?

  • Is it clear, at first glance, that you are professional and high value?

  • Are you the obvious choice in your market?

  • Do you look like every other X in the industry?

  • Do you want to be set apart?

  • Frankly, do you want to make more money?

A note of caution — when a designer prices their services in rigid “packages,” it’s a red flag. It usually means the work isn’t truly customized to your brand’s needs, and you’ll likely end up hiring again to fill the gaps.

I say this from experience — I used to price that way.
